That is a genuinely encouraging signal for egg quality, and the sixty-day lead time is exactly what you would expect if the supplement were working on eggs during their final maturation.

But honesty requires the other half of that sentence. In the same trial, clinical pregnancy and live birth — the outcomes that actually matter to a woman trying to have a child — only trended higher. They did not reach statistical significance. Which means the most truthful thing to say is that CoQ10 improved the laboratory measures of egg quality and embryo quality, while the proof that it delivers more babies is not yet there. The reasonable reading is to treat a supplement as a possible support to the conditions that shape egg quality — not as the lever, and certainly not as a fix. A woman living on four hours of sleep and constant stress, hoping a capsule will outrun all of it, has the order of operations backwards. The capsule sits at the end of a long list, after the sleep and the steadiness and the slow easing of pressure, not at the front of it.
